Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information The Bell Inn, Yarpole collects through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
Booking enquiries
When you send a booking enquiry through this website, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred date and time, the number of guests and any additional information you choose to share with us.
We use these details for one purpose only: to respond to your enquiry and, if we can accommodate you, to arrange and manage your table. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a reservation — your table is booked only once you receive confirmation from us.
We do not add booking customers to marketing lists, we do not send promotional email, and we never sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.
Lawful basis
We handle booking enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about dining with us, and to take steps at your request before providing a service.
How your details are stored
Enquiries are stored securely and are accessible only to The Bell Inn. A copy is also sent to us by email so we can reply quickly. Enquiry records are kept only for as long as we need them to manage bookings and our normal business records, and are then deleted.
Spam protection
To protect the enquiry form from automated abuse, we store a one-way, anonymised fingerprint derived from the network address the enquiry was sent from. It cannot be used to identify you and is used only to limit repeated automated submissions.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies. Full detail is set out in our cookie policy.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Please contact us and we will help.
